After Dark News

Our contemporary music service on the first and third Sunday nights will continue at 6 PM in the parish hall. Come spend time worshiping God through song and prayer. Each evening we read from the Bible and discuss an issue facing us as a community and as individuals.

Starting in March we will be worshiping with the band on the first Sundays only. The third Sunday will be a more in-depth Bible study and prayer time. We are discussing a variety of ways to have After Dark serve more people in our community. Please join us, see what the service is all about and help us grow.

If you are a musician and can offer your gift of music to us, we can incorporate a music component into the third Sunday service as well. All are welcome!

Wednesday Nights

All middle school and high school students are invited to come to the Simpson Youth Center Wednesday evenings from 6 to 8:30 PM. We eat, play games and spend time in Bible study and prayer. Bring a friend!

This month Patty Carlton visited Saint Thomas of Canterbury Episcopal Church (what a mouthful) in Temecula, Ca. They are part of the Diocese of San Diego, who by the way have their convention in Mid February. Continue to bring in those Sunday bulletins, they are quite interesting!

MOVE YOUR CLOCKS AHEAD

It's that time of year again! Yes, the dreaded "spring forward." While we enjoy having longer days, we had the fact that we lose an hour of sleep! Don't forget to move your clocks ahead before going to bed on Saturday March 13th. See you in church (on time)!
